SBS 2011 self signed certificate renewall
Hey Guys
I'm still quite new to servers. I'm running an SBS 2011 server and I'm getting logs that my leaf certificate and some of my self signed exchange certificates are expiring.
I ran the SBS 2011 console "fix my network" wizard to fix the leaf certificate. That ran without any errors. However in SBS 2011 Console>Network>Connectivi ty>Web Server Certificate: The date seems to be the same. Do I need to restart the server to solve that? What should I do?
Also in my EMC I have two self signed certificates that are due to expire soon. Would these be renewed by running the "fix my network" wizard? Or is there another wizard I need to run to renew these? What's the best way to go about renewing these certificates before they expire. Also will I need to update the client machines with the renewed certificate?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Kind Regards
Aaron

Hey sheedha and Iruiz52 thanks for your assistance.
Ok so I believe I need to run the "Setup Your Internet Address" wizard in SBS Console to "renew" the self signed certificate.
When I run the wizard I get the following prompts but I'm not sure on some of them of what to pick:
1. Do you want to register a new domain name? I figure i choose "I already have one"
2. How do you manage your domain name? I figure I choose let me manage it myself.
3. Store your domain name information: I figure I type the name of the certificate fqdm here: remote.server.com
I figure that will update the "Web server certificate" and the expiring 2x Exchange certificates.
Have I got that right? What do you guys think?
Also once I run the wizard do I need to do anything else?
Kind Regards
Aaron

Hey Guys
I'm still a bit hesitant to run the above steps. Have I got all the steps needed to complete the certificate renewal? Or am I still missing some?

- Under Connectivity Tasks area, click “Setup Your Internet Address”, go through the wizard to renew your self-signed SSL certificate.
