outlook 2010 send receive stuck on processing

Hi Experts,

I have a particular user with two mailboxes set on his Outlook.
Once in a while the Send/Receive progress get stuck and it shows "updating address book" according screenshot attached.

There is nothing being sent or received.

A new laptop has been provided to him and he still has the same problem.

Outlook profile has been reset. No success.
OAB files have been removed. No success.

Any ideas?

Do you receive an error when send/receive completes? if so could you please post the error.

Exchange. IMAP and POP are disabled.

Download the fix it utility and run it.

Also check to see if you have third party add-ons. If you do disable them and see if the problem persist.

In the end it was the customer network port.
Actually he was using a wireless.
Put him back to the LAN and the problem did not happen again.
