"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You have to make sure your CA is up and running, then you go through exchange and renew the certificate.

I'd recommend using a 3rd party CA instead of self signed/issued certs.  This is the simplest guide I've found to creating and implementing one yet.

First go get a cert from Digicert.com, then follow this:  http://www.digicert.com/ssl-certificate-installation-microsoft-exchange-2010.htm
