Gradient fill

I'm trying to remove what appears to be a gradient fill in a row of cells.

Gradient
I've tried everything I can think of but it will not clear and become solid or no color.

Mike,

Have you tried Clear Formats? If not try it. It should remove all formatting.

You could have conditional formation setup for the range. Check if there is.

If those did not help, upload the file and I'll look at it.

You can just cancel the window you have there and just click a single colour in the palette or 'no colour'.

This should be all it requires.
two of the same colour won't work :(

Barman: I tried to no color option

No color option
Can't figure why there is no "one color" option in the "fill effects" option

Will check Harry's suggestion now

Harry, I couldn't figure out how to clear formatting; and I didn't want to clear data. I was also unsure how to check for conditional formatting.

So what I did, to resolve the problem, was click the "format painter", select the format that was working and "paint" it into the cells in question.  That cleared the current format and I was able to reformat the cells without the "fill effects".
