Porting 2003 Exchange to 2013...how to find mail server info to be moved?

I got tossed to the Exchange wolves.  I am trying to figure out how to find out how Exchange SBS 2003 connects to the internet (SMTP servers, etc.) so that I can set up the new 2013 Server to connect to the same resources.  There is no documentation, and the person that set this up has long since left the company.

Where would I look in SBS 2003's Exchange server to find the info I need to connect the new 2013 Exchange to the same resources?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

This path is not supported. You cannot connect Exchange 2003 to 2013. The only migration path supported is 2007 Sp3 RU10 or Exchange 2010 SP3.

I'm not trying to connect them TOGETHER.  I am looking for the settings that allow SBS 2003 Exchange to connect to the internet (possibly to mail relays) to get and send email.

I want to enter this info into Exchange 2013 manually.  I am not interested in migrating the old SBS 2003 Exchange to 2013.  This is a clean install.

Hope that Exchange 2013 clean install is not on the same domain as the SBS 2003. To find the settings on SBS 2003 look at the end of this article: http://www.msexchange.org/articles-tutorials/exchange-server-2003/management-administration/Configuring-Incoming-Outgoing-Email-Windows-Small-Business-Server-2003.html
run the email configuration wizard on the sbs box, make a note of the prepopulated settings,  then choose cancel on the last page to retain the existing settings.
