Automated reimaging of workstations
Hello all,
We're looking for a way to speed-up our format/reinstall process for our clients. Ideal situation would be us loading a program on to a bootable USB drive, plugging it in to the computer, and waiting for the initial Windows greeting to show up. We're thinking something like having this program/unattended install copy the existing files on to a network location, format the hard drive, reinstall whatever OS (likely Win7), and then go grab the files that were copied on to the network and put them back where they used to exist with the exception of the infected files, of course. Does any critter exist like this?
Thanks!

I figured Acronis would have something like this. We'll see if they have a trial version and give it a shot. It's a little more hands-on than "boot from USB drive and come back in an hour" but it's better than what we've been doing.
Thanks again!
