Can Crystal Reports accept a mapping from a stored procedure from a old report with multiple tables.

Does anyone know if you can map a report from a series of tables to a stored procedure. I have tried and everything breaks. When opening the Visual Linking Expert all the table links are broken. The report does not seem to want to map. Does anyone know if this can be done. Thanks?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

The only way I have ever been able to do that (short of rebuilding the report) is to add the SP to the report (don't link it in and don't refresh the data).

You can then manually map the fields from the SP to the appropriate fields on the report.  By map I mean drag the field on and replace the appropriate field on the report.
