How to take advantage of all netwok adapters

Hi,
I have a HP Proliant DL380 G7 with 4 NICs with Windows 2012. Currently I use only one but because  I plan to create several virtual machines I need to know how to take advantage of all of them... thanks

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Check for teaming software for the nics. I'd start with HP. They should have it. if not, they may send you to the nic vendor they use.

Nic teaming is poular

I found that Windows 2012 has an option "NIC teaming-->Disabled"... but I do not know what I have to do with it... I need some type of guidance...
