IP camera recommend

Can someone recommend an IP camera that includes recording on the camera.
We have a small second office that I would like to put a camera in. it would point to a entry door, distance about 15  feet in a 20' x 20' lobby room. All I need to do is capture the entry door, I'd like for it to record maybe a week max. zoom and able to hit it with a iPhone app.

Any suggestions are appricated

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Since you are after only one camera POE is not a solution for you unless you already have a POE switch in use!!

Quick and logical solution might be a wirelss IP camera with PTZ function.

or another brand.

You can't record a whole week on one camera.

You will need a recorder box, which also functions as a Internet server for the app.

Make sure you have sufficient Memory on the harddrive to record a week

The best video compression at the moment is h.264

I have had great success at home with Foscam cameras. The ones I use are Pan and Tilt only, but for the cost they are awesome. They have their own built in webservers and you can access them with any smartphone. I have heard peers who have used Foscam and other cameras with ISpyConnect with great success.

http://foscam.us/  - Can be had on Amazon to other sites too.
http://www.ispyconnect.com/  - Free Open Source Camera recording software.
