size between slices in pie chart never changed

It is so strange that it does matter what values of series 1 and series 2 are.  The size of slices won't change.

I tried to change the customrizeattribute in both series properties, just could not fix this problem.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Is this on the SSRS?
Or is it in the BIDS Visual Studio? (the data doesn't actually update every time).

In addition to Tony303: if you're using BIDS, try deleting the cache file.  You can find it in the same folder as your report.  It has the same name as your report with the .data extension added to it.  If you don't know where your report is located, have a look at the Full Path property while your report is selected in the Solution Explorer window.

Visual Studio creates this .data file so that it doesn't need to fetch the data each time you open the Preview window, but unfortunately it sometimes re-uses it even when you don't want it to.  That may be the case here.

Hi, Tony303, ValentinoV,

I meant was the size of slices of pie won't change, not my data. If you look the charts on the attached file, you will know what I am saying.

Thank you,

Sharon

Wow um, huh?  That second one is indeed totally off...  Are you using any expressions for the values or label?  Also, are you sure you undid all property changes in your attempts to get it running?  When in doubt, try creating a pie from scratch and see how that goes.

Hi, ValentinoV,

I did from the scratch, and make sure used values for label, and worked.

Thank you,
