Automatic Silent uninstall for Office 2007

Hi, Chasing a script to do a silent uninstall of office 2007. I have already looked at the offscrub script, and it does work, but I need one that will do it without prompts. Can someone provide one, or tell me where to edit the offscrub to not ask?

Cheers

Is it enough to run
MsiExec.exe /X {90120000-0012-0000-0000-0000000FF1CE} /QN

Hi Rob,

Yeah that would work, but I need an ID for small business. I have found a technet article that lists all the versions except small business...

Thanks

OK, so have a look in Regedit under HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

peform a search for your product, then read the UninstallString in that key, and try that.

Hi Rob,

Yeah i have had a look in there. There are three Office Shared 64-bit keys listed. Nothing that says small business and we are running the 32-bit version. I have tried these keys anyway just to see what they do, but the office apps remain.

Cheers,

Josh

OK, so since you have installed the 32 bit version, search under
HKLM\Software\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

and try something there.
