My outlook 2010 has been working fine until now. I haven't changed my internet provider
or made any changed in the settings.
But for past few days when I try to send emails I get the following massage although I can send emails to my own email. I can receive emails. I have POP3 account type.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

That particular message generally means what it says.

1. Are you getting your email from Yahoo via POP3?  You need a premium Yahoo account to do that.

2. Are you sending from an email address that is not associated with your POP3 provider? Check what Ports you are now supposed to use (it may have changed to SSL). In Outlook Account Settings, More Settings, check Outgoing Server and authenticate if necessary.

Hello,

Check your outbound SMTP settings. Make sure you are set to authenticate to the SMTP server.
