VM host memory upgrade

Hello,
I have been asked to upgrade the RAM on one of our VM host servers (regular IBM server) which is no problem, but is there anything that needs to be done in Vsphere to get the box to see the new memory upgrade, or does it automatically find it?

Thanks,

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

No changes are required, just ensure the correct memory is used, and inserted into the correct banks.

The HOST will recognize the memory automatically and report it back to vCenter Server and ESXi.

Nothing is required on vSphere.  This week we upgraded three HS22V blades from 144 GB to 192 GB without any problems.
