Lotus notes cursor jumps around

I can't seem to find a solution for the following:
When typing a new e-mail in Lotus Notes 8, after typing a letter, mouse cursor jumps over it, which is really annoying. :/
It continues for every letter.

Any solutions?

p.s. I'm not using a wireless mouse

Only in Notes? Not in any other application, like Word, a text field in a browser, Notepad, etc.?

ASKER

only when typing emails in lotus notes
Which Notes version exactly? See the "About" dialog box, something like this:
Release 8.5.3FP1
Revision 20120308.0840-FP1 (Release 8.5.3FP1)
Standard Configuration
The version is 8.5.3
Standard or Basic? If you test in a Basic client, I suppose it will work. I assume therefore that it has to do with the Eclipse environment.

Does this page describe the behaviour of your field/page?
The basic client version.
Hi,,

Could you please try to type a new email on another PC with the same LN version 8.5.3 basic edition ? then see if the same problem happens or not ... So, if it doesnt happen you can go back to your Lotus Notes client and uninstall it then make a fresh installation .

Or just try to disconnenct your wireless mous and connect an other one then check if the same problem happens or not .

Best Wishes
I will try that
No mouse. The cursor moves and jumps when I'm using the keyboard
Ok,,, I am waiting for your update ...
Yes a diferent pc has the same problem
Could you please just post a Snap of the cursor when it jumps over it ???
In order to give a clearer image of the issue ...
I'll try
I am really so sorry for any Inconvenience but really I 've been using LN8.5.3 for some time and have 10s of users using it but never ever received a similar complain !!! , Hence, I need to just have a clearer image inorder to figure out what is going on ...

Moreover, I have one more doubt about something ,,,, what is the operating system of the users having this problem?? do they have a common operating system e.g. win7 , XP etc..

Did you try to change the cursor configuration of these users and see what happens
How to change the configuration of the cursor Win7...

It smells more like a driver issue: it could be the mouse driver, the graphics driver or the keyboard driver if it's a non-standard one, but even the printer driver could be the culprit. Or the touchpad driver.
