If youre using firefox there are add-ons that help with this, possibly IE too but I'm not sure. One is called 'Download Flash and Video', I think. Alternatively you can use

http://www.keepvid.com which also works for youtube and other streaming video sites.

Usually you have to do tricks as described above. In this case, there's no need, the media is available in plain sight:
http://www.sfmoma.org/media/video/mov_BViola_os_greeting_hi16.flv
Use VLC to play it.
