Can I upgrade my SBS 2011 Standard server to run SQL Server Express 2008 R2 with Advanced Services instead of SQL Server Express 2008 R2?

I have purchased a SBS 2011 box, this comes with SQL Server Express 2008 R2 as one of it's many defaults. Can I upgrade to or install a new instance of SQL Server Express 2008 R2 with Advanced Services on the same box? I am hoping this will then allow me to use the SQL Server Reporting Services Report Viewer web part within SharePoint 2010 Foundation as currently I get an error whenever I drop this web part on to a SharePoint page.

You should not be storing your own data in the installed SQL instance on SBS. It is tuned for what it does already, namely provide backend services for the SBS dashboard. If you are going to run another database on the SBS server at all (which I don't recommend, but is possible) you should install a separate instance.

As such, no, you should not change the installed instance at all. But any new instance can indeed include advanced services if you so desire.
