"Remote Desktop cannot verify the identity of the remote computer because there is a time or date difference..." error

Running into this error on a few Windows 2008 R2 servers, which we verified has nothing to do with the time/date being wrong.

Searching the forums and tried the various fixes with time/date/NTP/DNS but none work. Restarting the server does, not ideal.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Remove the certificate that is cached from the server for Terminal Services, it will regenerate.  Do the same for the client PC.  This will resolve the issue.  We had this the other day and it was the certificate... here is a thread that explains same issue in detail.
