"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

register_globals is turned off in PHP 5.3 and doesn't exist in PHP 5.4.  If you were using it before, you will have to rewrite your code.

This article explains what is happening and what you must do to keep your scripts running.  If you're using code that is very old (and you almost certainly are, if RG is an issue) then it is time to refactor.  This issue has been a known security problem since PHP4, almost ten years ago!
