Error 1053 SQLAgent.dll and SQLAgent.rll

Hello Experts!

I got this problem about Error: 1053 in SQL Server 2005.

In this article http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;322140 I cannot find the path where SQLAgent.dll and SQLAgent.rll are stored.

Anyone for help?

Thank you.

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

SQL Agent XXX.dll pathsHi,

You're looking at a SQL Server 7 and 2000 article.
I have searched for SQLAgent.dll and not found in on one of my SQL 2005 Servers.

Attached are the files like it on the SQL 2005 Server.

Here is a more in depth SQL 2005 MSDN thread...

http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/sqlserver/en-US/a1fd78d4-507f-4961-b960-57e0c2ffcd95/cannot-start-sql-server-agent-mssqlserver

See if you can glean any clues from the article and locate the log it mentions.

Hope this help a bit.
