I don't see a extend.dat file, running Outlook 2013 Exchange account on Windows 7 PC
Hi,

sorry this was my mistake. I forgot that in Outlook 2013 there is no extend.dat file any longer.
Maybe you can find the solution in this article:
http://www.howto-outlook.com/faq/outlookdoesntstart.htm
(I'd also try to start Outlook with the most common command-line switches like "resetnavpane" and "cleanviews" for example - a full list of available switches can be found here: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook-help/command-line-switches-for-outlook-2013-HA102606406.aspx)
It was an add-on causing the problem
thanks for the help
Disable and Stop the 'Desktop Window Manager Session Manager' service.  It's a pile and breaks Outlook 2013 frequently.
