Vmware Horizon 5.2 and software installation after creating pool

I would like to know if any experts out there have used a way to install software into the vm image post creating or recomposing a pool via horizon view 5.2

I have been trying to use quickprep post script without any success. The script executes successfully, but it cannot connect to a unc path neither directly nor thru a script in order to connect to a software server. I have also use 'net use' command to mapped the drive at post and still no success. The script works great while creating the snapshot image in the base image. It does not work successfully at post with quickprep post script

I am trying to create scripts in order to install software automatically at post after creating a pool. In order to make software changes more efficiently upon pool creation.

Any help or feedback would be appreciated. Thank you.

Did you see the Admin Guide, pg. 105-106?
http://pubs.vmware.com/view-52/topic/com.vmware.ICbase/PDF/horizon-view-52-administration.pdf

It looks like there are a few stipulations for running the script; one being that the script must be on the parent/base VM used for the Pool. Read through the other items & see if you're in compliance with the other stipulations.

Yes. I have looked at that documentation. I did put the script in the parent vm and scripts do execute.

For example, I can execute a script where it will create a directory in the system drive and it does work. However, If I create a script executing a second script and the second script trying to connect to a UNC path, it does not work. I am not using UNC path within QuickPrep Post but rather thru another script within the VM.

Any idea what is the best way to deploy software via quickprep or sysprep?

Well, it was worth the try. I will try to investigate if it can be possible with sysprep instead. Thank you.
Thanks for responding. Please let me know if you find anything.
I will ping some folks in the twitter community to see if they've attempted doing this...
