"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Seems to be working OK now, you are using .on which is not available til 1.7 (you are using 1.6)
You need to use live.
Or update to a newer version.

p.s.
What are all those images for - dozens and dozens of them - killing the site!
40 secs to load the homepage and I have a 100Mb internet.

I loaded jQuery-1.7.2.min.js  but I think the problem is that the div is not on the top layer.  I just noticed that when I click on the "X" the Number 1 in the lower left highlights.  How do I move the div to the top?

GaryCommented:
Working for me, you might like to add cursor:pointer for the X

Did this..... added a zindex and the new JQuery.  It works.

What is a cursor pointer?

GaryCommented:
Add to the X's div css
cursor:pointer

That will give you the hand cursor when you mouse over the X which intuitively means I am clickable.
