Can this Laptop take Win 7 64 but or is it 32 ? (original opsys win 7 home prem something )

I have to do a bare metal install on this.

Will it take 64?

Also for future ref .... If I try to install a 64 bit op sys on a 32 bit will it fail straight away? Error messages?

@fcek You have mentioned 32bit o.s ...did you mean 32bit processor.

32 bit o.s and 32 bit processor are two different things.

Did u run upgrade advisor.

Why does he need to run the upgrade advisor? The laptop originally shipped with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-BIT according to Toshiba!
I think he might have installed 32 bit version of o.s  and wants to install 64bit..

Yes, but the question was - can the laptop take 64-BIT Windows 7, and since it was shipped with 64-BIT Windows 7, running the upgrade advisor isn't necessary.
