Mapping Stored Procedures in Crystal Reports 8.5
I have this stored procedure that I have been testing and i finally got it working. Left the name of the Stored Proc with my initials tagged at the end. Then realized I could not leave them there but at the same time could not make a copy of the Stored Procedure ย with my initials off and map the Crystal Report to the new Stored procedure. There are hundreds of forumulas that would have to be redesigned with the new SP name etc etc. Is there a way to map from SP to SP.

I also made a change to the SP with the addition of a field and Crystal Was not able to accept the mapping to the report. Surely I will not have to rebuild every report over and over if a change is made to the stored procedure.

It still does not work. I used SET LOCATION. Pointed adn selected the new Stored Procedure the difference of this
Rpt_SalesSummaryAdopted_sproc_MAC_RAMS_RB .......the one I was testing with...
and this
Rpt_SalesSummaryAdopted_sproc_MAC_RAMS.......the one I want to go to....

Then I went to Verify Database on refresh.....it prompted me for some parameters.....then it said the database is up to date. I go back to look to see if the Set Location held its position it did not. It is still pointing to the original SP it was built off of.

It looks like more and more I am going to have to rebuild every report from scratch for every change made to the Stored Procedure....God I hope not. I have just rebuilt this one 5 times.....any other advice.....?
