I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You create a Virtual Switch against which physical NIC you want, and select whether you want Private, Internal, or External.
Assign the virtual NIC on the VM to the Virtual Switch you configured.

You need to install the integration services on the virtual machine.

Create the virtual switch as External if you want to share the NIC between the virtual machines and the host, otherwise, create it as Private so, that only the virtual machines can use it.

The issue was something wrong with the OS VM. I reinstalled the OS and everything works now. Thanks for the help.
