Lotus Notes- calendar free/busy time not working

Can someone please help guide me in the right direction. I am in a business environment working with Lotus Notes 8.5.  Our users have a calendar for which they can book a meeting with each other.

The issue that I am having is that on about five users can't see their manager's free/busy time. Usually a working calendar would show either available(white) or busy(Red). From what they can see on their end is the manager's schedule but EVERYTHING is grayed out.

The confusing part is randomly some people can see the manager's schedule and a select few can't see it and only see gray. I personally can see his schedule, and I compared my settings with a user with this issue and everything is the same.

ALL THE THINGS I HAVE DONE SO FAR:

-Uninstalled Lotus Notes 8.5 and reinstalled
(worked for about a week and issue came back)

-Checked to make sure the bad account was connected to proper server
(reentered server name)

-Uninstalled Notes with out user's "Names.NSF" file

-Checked Manager's settings on his computer and nothing is changed different.

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Suggested by this page: start the calconn task, manually at first. Later on, you can configure the task in the notes.ini file.

Hello,

The link provided refers to an environment with more than one domain.  Does it make a difference? if we only have one domain?
