Can't do a Win Explorer search on hybryd drive

I installed a Solid State Hybrid drive and it works fine except I can't do a search of the drive. What I do to search is I make a backup copy of the drive on to a SATA drive and search the SATA drive. I'm wanting to be able to search the Hybrid Drive, can anyone tell me how to do this?

Type of drive: Seagate 1TB Solid State Hybrid Drive SATA 6Gbps 64MB Cache 2.5-Inch ST1000LM014.
Windows 8 OS.

Thank you,
Dave

I installed the search fixit and it did not fix the problem with scanning the hybird drive. I'm wondering if making it the B: drive might be the issue, but it's set to have the b: drive indexed. I can search all other drives, just not the hybird drive? The hybird drive works fine except for not being able to scan for files on it?

The hybird drive is formated as NTFS, I will try changing the drive letter.
I ended up moving the drive to the F: drive and then I started having memory problems and refreshed the computer and it started working. It also turned out that I had a bad memory chip, not related to this problem.
