Vista Programs and Features should show Adobe Flash installed. Remove Flash (uninstall it), then restart the computer and try again to install Flash.

You may have a virus, so do run your virus scanner and do a complete scan.

Hi  Delores_C
may I ask what has happened
something has caused you to troubleshoot a problem with flash and downloading flash is one course you have decided to take?
Did you know there is also shockwave player?
Please post back those details
also try the Adobe Site and test your flash,
Install a different version of Adobe Flash Player

Are you in youtube?
