Help needed in setting up Exchange 2010

I am installing a new exchange 2010 server in a domain that presently has a single exchange 2007 server. I want to migrate everything over to the new server (new hardware) and decommission the old exchange 2007 server but after installing the exchange2010 server software on the new hardware (running server 2012) I have no Organisation, Server or Recipient config options. This is my 1st time setting up exchange 2010.

Is there something else I must do in order to get the EMC to display the full set of configuration options please?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Thank you for this - when I installed SP3 everything started working. This would have taken me some time to nut out myself so thank you very much.
