Customizing a Form in SharePoint. How to remove the Edit Tab and replace with a submit button?

Hello Experts,

I customize a list form via SP2010 bu clicking on the LIST tab and then the CUSTOMIZE FORM button which opens up Infopath 2010. I can make changes there and then publish it.

Is there way using the aforementioned process that I can customize it so that when a user clicks on "new item" that the form window that opens up have the edit tab removed where it has  Save, Close, Paste and Copy and have it replaced with a submit button ( save ) below and a bonus a cancel ( close ) button as well.

Please see image attached.

Thank you in advance.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Thank you that was brilliant!

But I just wanted to modify the Add New Item Form and still let them have the edit capabilities on the edit form.

With the links above it does it on both edit forms and view forms.

Thank you so much!

If you edit the setting to show the ribbon via the infopath web part settings it can be selectively for an edit page and not the view page. Here's a video that describes editing the infopath web part; http://www.the-north.com/sharepoint/post/SharePoint-2010-Add-Web-Part-to-InfoPath-List-Form

All will become clear!
