"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Don't waste your time changing URLs with set-autodiscovervirtualdirectory. That has NOTHING to do with Autodiscover.

Internally Autodiscover is controlled by one value only:

get-clientaccessserver | select identity, autodiscoverinternalserviceuri

I expect that you have incorrect values for that and it is resolving to the wrong place.
Does the old server still exist? If so, change the value on it to match the new one.

The autodiscover DNS record is not required internally unless either
a. Your SSL certificate is for Autodiscover.example.com ONLY.
b. You have non-domain clients on your internal DNS record.

Ensure that any redirection on the default web site doesn't affect the other virtual directories.

Simon.
