Date Time controller to be used in Textbox control

Our application is skin based application and we are going to replace it with master based application, but the problem we are facing during the conversion is the behaviour and working of controls.
For Example: we are trying to convert on of the screen which is having existing skin based datetime control in textbox control, but now when we convert the same page to master based same is not working. we have tried to use Jquery concept for the same:

<link rel="Stylesheet" type="text/css" href="styles/jquery.datepick.css"></link>
 <link rel="Stylesheet" type="text/css" href="styles/style.css"></link>
<script src="/Scripts/jquery.validate.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script src="/Scripts/jquery.validate.unobtrusive.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script src="/Scripts/UI/jquery.ui.core.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script src="/Scripts/UI/jquery.ui.widget.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<script src="/Scripts/UI/jquery.ui.datepicker.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
 <script src="http://ajax.microsoft.com/ajax/jquery/jquery-1.4.2.min.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
 <script type="text/javascript" src="scripts/jquery.datepick.js"></script>
$(function () {
    $('#startdate').datepick({ dateFormat: 'dd/mm/yyyy' });
    $('#enddate').datepick({ dateFormat: 'dd/mm/yyyy' });
});

and on asp.net design:

                <tr>
                    <td>
                        From:</td>
                         <td> <asp:TextBox  runat="server" id="startdate"   class="field"></asp:TextBox>
                    </td>
                </tr>

when run the code we are getting the error for java script runtime for unhandled exception: undefined "datepick".

The old code for the same is:
             <tr>
                    <td>
                        From:</td>
                         <td> <asp:TextBox  runat="server" TabIndex="26" CssClass="txtfields3"
                       onfocus="showCalendarControl(this)" id="caleStartDate"  name="caleStartDate"  ></asp:TextBox>
                    </td>
                </tr>

Can any one help us regarding above issue also is there any other option apart from jquery.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
perhaps just a simple typo:
instead of
 $('#startdate').datepick({ dateFormat: 'dd/mm/yyyy' });
    $('#enddate').datepick({ dateFormat: 'dd/mm/yyyy' });

Open in new window

it should be
 $('#startdate').datepicker({ dateFormat: 'dd/mm/yyyy' });
    $('#enddate').datepicker({ dateFormat: 'dd/mm/yyyy' });

Open in new window

The function is called datepicker - you miss the ending "er".

tried with datepicker, but still textbox is open for editing instead of showing the calendar control in it.

Hi,
could you perhaps attach / post the generated HTML (IE -> View Source)?
Thanks.
