I'm just starting to use Google's webmaster tools to evaluate search performance of my site, http://mauitradewinds.com
Today I noticed that Google's Webmaster Central reports the key words in my content. Most of the terms which they have listed are irrelevant to the subject of my site. For example, Maui honeymoon or Maui vacation would be relevant. These terms appear in the page title, description, and page text, but aren't on the list of terms reported by Webmaster Central. Although "Maui" is on top of the list of reported terms, "Maui" -- by itself -- is not helpful to my potential visitors, as it is too generalized. Toward the top of Webmaster Central's reported terms are RezEasy, notes, David, and other terms which have no relevance to my visitors. The terms "vacation", "Honeymoon" and "rental", which figure prominently in my page content, are absent from the list. I'm wondering what accounts for this, and how it can be adjusted?
