What do I do to make a menu dropdown color transparent

Hello

I have a menu where I need the dropdown color to be semi-transparent.   Not sure if I do it with semi-transparent pngs?   Or what.

In any case I am looking forward to your suggestions.

In my next comment I will include the URL to the test page.

Thanks

Use opacity https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/opacity

http://jsbin.com/erICoki/1/edit
  <div class="one"> <div class="two"></div></div>
  <div class="two"></div>
  <div class="three"></div>

Open in new window

div.one{
  background-color:red;
  width:300px;
  height:300px;
}
div.two{
  background-color:blue;
  width:100px;
  height:100px;
  opacity:.5
}
div.three{
  background-color:blue;
  width:100px;
  height:100px;

}

Open in new window
