Hyper-V certificate problem

Hello ,

We run a Hyper-V Cluster with windows 2008 r2 SP1.

Today i see in event viewer the above message

"The certificate used for server authentication will expire within 30 days. Remote access to virtual machines will not be possible after the certificate expires. Please renew or recreate the certificate. "

Any ideas what is this ? First time i see this message. If the certificate expires i will lose access to my VM's ?

Hyper-V will only run for a year before the self-signed certificate that allows remote access to the machines expires, so before it get expired you need to renew ceritificate

Please refer below link to how to generate / renew certificate
