Microsoft Excel

I have a workbook that an employee password protected in excel 2010. I have the password. Now they want to remove the password protection. I am prompted for password when we open the file. There are multiple worksheets in the workbook, I have verified that they are not grouped. Under review, the Protect Sheet, and Protect Workbook are not active.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Assuming a reasonably normal workbook, the quickest way is to make a new workbook and copy the sheets into the new workbook. That should work.
