sharepoint 2010 , Automate Creating subsite from template

I am trying to automate the process of creating a subsite. I have a template that employees will used to create subsites that are used for thier projects. The template has been created and is working. I want the employees to click a button and only need to enter in the name of the project as the subsite name. All other settings, such as permissions, can just be the default settings.

I've seen online solutions that you can download for a free or pay, but I'm looking for just the workflow, or Powerscript.
Thank you,
