scheduled task -every 15 minutes

i have to create a scheduled task on windows server 8 and windows 7

I have to schedule the task  to run every 15 minutes. It would be running a batch file which runs some java and .net applications..

Now, if my task is running and is taking more than 15 minutes, will the next schedule of that task start even though old one is not done yet? Or will it wait till the older one is completed?

Please help

thanks a lot

Hello,

Im not sure about windows 8, but windows 7 has the following options for scheduled tasks.

shows the options for a scheduled task
Once you've created the task, you should be able to right click it and go to properties to access the option you are looking for.

Hope this helps.

Those four settings apply to Window 8, you can set what action to take when the current task is running.
