An easy way to get AD information

Hi Experts,

I need some information from 2 different domains. One is a Server 2008 domain and the other is Server 2012. What i need is;

- All folders and the permissions
- All groups and their members

I want them in an Excel file if possible. Can someone help me with this?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

adinfo is a free GUI based tool that makes AD reports fairly easy

http://www.cjwdev.co.uk/Software/ADReportingTool/Info.html

That same author makes NTFS permissions reporter for files

http://www.cjwdev.co.uk/Software/NtfsReports/Info.html

There are also command line tools like powershell, adfind, and others that can help with reports

Thanks
