NOP Commerce -- “Request Quote” items ?

Over 50% of my 80,000+ items have no price associated with them.

How much will it cost to setup something like one of the below “Desired Steps” options so users can add both priced and “Request Quote” items to their cart ?

I think below Option #2 should be the easiest since it would just be some “if $0, then display “Request Quote” text instead of $price” logic added to the below
1.      CATEGORY ¿ i.e. http://localhost/desktops
2.      PRODUCT ¿ i.e. http://localhost/build-your-own-computer
3.      SHOPPING CART ¿ i.e. http://localhost/cart
4.      ORDER DETAILS ¿ i.e. http://localhost/orderdetails/8
5.      ORDER CONFIRMATION EMAIL ¿ i.e. the Purchase Receipt for Order #8 email

Anything is fine, I just need a cheap solution.

Current Steps1. I setup PRODUCT with “Call for price” checked
2. User can see item, but cannot Add to Cart

Desired Steps

Option #1 ¿ new “Request Quote” checkbox function
1. I setup PRODUCT with “Request Quote” checked
2. User enters desired QTY on item on http://localhost/etnies-mens-digit-sneaker , clicks Add to Cart
3. Repeats above #2 for other items they want
4. Checks out
5. I call or email user with pricing details
6. I manually update price on customers’ order and process it

Option #2 ¿ if price =0, then display “Request Quote” text instead of $0 PRICE
1. I setup PRODUCT with $0 price
2. User sees “Request Quote” text instead of $0 PRICE, enters desired QTY on item on http://localhost/etnies-mens-digit-sneaker , clicks Add to Cart
3. Repeats above #2 for other items they want
4. Checks out
5. I call or email user with pricing details
6. I manually update price on customers’ order and process it

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

What is the exact question here?

Are these project requirements?

Then all of these can be done in (my estimate) 2 weeks with C# and ASP.NET.

There is no "Cheap" solution for this. you need to hire a senior web developer to do this for you.

Cost depends on what area you are.

I'm not sure if it is acceptable for EE if we put a hourly price here. It wil be opinion based anyway.
