Multiple e-mail accounts on Outlook 2011. Need notifications only for one e-mail account.

Hello!

We have a user who has multiple e-mail accounts set up in his outlook 2011. He wants to only have sound notifications from one e-mail accounts.

I only found a way to disable sound notifications for all account.

Is there a script or a rule we can create for his other e-mail accounts?

Thank You,

Alex

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi,

unfortunately it is not possible to turn off sound notifications for just one account. The only option is to disable sound notifications in general which can be found here:

1. On the Outlook menu, click Preferences.
2. Under Personal Settings, click Notifications & Sounds - Notifications & Sounds Preferences button.
3. Under Sounds, clear the check box next to each sound that you want to turn off.
