auto spell is acting strange on my computer

hi experts,

the auto spell is not working correctl on my computer for any program. For example if i type september and I misspelled it and I put my cursor on a letter and delete it , it deletes the letter in front of it and i have to erase everything and type it again the correct way! it's driving me crazy. So if I type a sentence like " I don't like windows" and i made a mistake in the word like and I put my cursor to correct it then the word windows gets all messed and up is gone! what did I do wrong?

Is that happening when typing in other text boxes, such as "Post a Comment" here.  If it does, I would suspect a problem with your keyboard.  If not, try to repair Word.
Control Panel|Programs and Features, scroll to and then highlight either Word or Office, depending what is installed.  Click Change on menubar and follow instructions to select Word and  Repair.
