I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

No, you can't run anything in a closed workbook.

is there a way to use task scheduler with a greater frequesncy than daily?
Martin LissOlder than dirtCommented:
Apparently so although I've never used the scheduler. Take a look at this article. Under Advanced it says

1.      Click the Schedule tab, and then click Advanced.
2.      Click to select the Repeat task check box, and then specify the number of minutes or hours in which you want the task to be repeated.
