Cannot search Contents in Windows Server 2008 R2

Hello all I have setup a Windows Server running 2008R2. I have read may articles on hear about getting the search to work. I have finally installed the Windows Search Service and it is running good. The only problem I still have is that it will  not find contents within a file. I have a set the Search options to Search properties and contents, but it will not find contents in a file.
I have even setup up a test file with 1 word inside and it cannot find this simple .txt and look inside. What am I missing?

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi,

Has the server had a reboot sine the Role was installed?  One is needed.

Also, is the extention of the file that you have created for your test definitely a .txt ?
