Setting up email redirect

I have been asked to set up a mail redirect in Exchange 2007. I was told that this is not the same as forwarding.
I need the following to be able to happen.
all emails coming in to person1@mycompany.com will get redirected to mickey@mouse.com.
These are different domains on different servers in different countries.

How can I accomplish this?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You can do this configuring the forwarding in mailflow  settings

properties for the specific user or use transport rules to configure this.

User properties > Mailflow settings > Delivery options > forwarding address

you can set the forwarding address over there.

2nd method is go for  creating a transport rule

First you need create mail contact for external mailbox (mickey@mouse.com) in your Exchange organization. then you can go to mailbox (person1@mycompany.com) properties->Mailflow Settings->Delivery option0> Forwarding address. you can select the mail contact..
