While I was on a business trip last week, my teenage son decided to go into my office and change the password and security questions to my email account as payback for grounding him. Now he's 'playing dumb' and pretending as if he did not do it. Bottom line is I have to get back into my email. I called yahoo and that was like talking to a wall. They said that there was no way of proving that it is my email address. So I purchased a program called Email Hacker, and that did not work either, because after speaking with customer support from the program, I now know that the smart son of a gun deleted my cashe as well so the password couldn't be recovered that way. Does anyone hear have any new suggestions? For all you business owners you must understand how lost you would be without accessing your email for a week. Not to mention Im losing money each day that goes by. PLEASE. HELP!<br />

An email client, email reader or more formally mail user agent (MUA) is a computer program in the category of groupware environments used to access and manage a user's email. A web application that provides message management, composition, and reception functions may internally act as an email client; as a whole, it is commonly referred to as webmail. Likewise, email client may be referred to a piece of computer hardware or software whose primary or most visible role is to work as an email client. Email clients can also have other systems, like calendars, notes and contact managers.

Email Clients

Interactions between email servers and clients are governed by email protocols. The three most common email protocols are POP, IMAP and MAPI. Most email software operates under one of these (and many products support more than one).  The correct protocol must be selected, and correctly configured, if you want your email account to work.
