ASP.net using a setting

I have an ASP.net web app that I m using for two different websites.
I want to use some kind of setting to indicate which site is to be used.
So where would I store a variable that holds "Site A" or "Site B"
Would it perhaps be at the markup shown below in the Web.config file?

So each website has it's own web.config correct?
If so then you can add a key
 <add kye="sitename" value="SiteA"/>

Open in new window

Or you might want to explain more on your issue.
