When using Microsoft CRM 2011 and creating a new Account the field "Account Name" must be completed, after entering the new Account details and selecting "Save and Close" the new Account is created however the "Account Name" field is blank. Likewise when the Account is viewed from the "Active Accounts" view the field is blank.
If you reopen the new Account and enter the Account Name for the second time it saves correctly.
This problem began in CRM 4.0 and continues in our upgrade to CRM 2011.
I've spent weeks trying to correct this fault, so any help is hugely appreciated. I firstly suspected that I had messed up the mapping...
