unable to push McAfee epo agent

Hi guys

I'm unable to push the epo agent from our epo 4.6 server.
I'm getting the following error:
Failed to get remote system information, system error: The remote procedure call failed

I've been searching the internet for a solution but nothing works.
I can ping the device, I can access the Admin$ share, ...

Thx
Filip

Is the server for the admin server running as a domain admin, or service account that has permission to access the admin share?

ASKER

The services are running with the Local System Account.

I'm pushing the agent with the Domain Admin credentials.

Thx
In Services, scroll down to "Remote Procedure Call" and make sure the status says "Started"
Yes, the service is running. I already checked.

Please note:
I'm trying to push the agent to a member server.
There is already a McAfee Virusscanner on that server but I have disabled the protections.

Thx
Firewall disabled?
Yup.
It's a windows server 2003 server. Firewall disabled.

Thx

Can you do the \\memberserver\Admin$ from the ePo server?

Is the remote registry running?

Do you see anything in the event logs related to the installation?

Sudeep
Yup. The Admin$ share is accessible as mentioned before. I even tried creating and deleting af file.
Remote registry service is started.
Nothing to see in the event viewer.

Thx
Filip
try many tools:
psexec
at
registry startup locations

etc etc...
