Yahoo email on iPhone iOS7

We've got a user who has got a new iPhone 5s and has a Yahoo email account, it doesn't appear there is anyway to limit the amount of messages downloaded (before the user had it set to 200).

The knock on effect of this is that the user has 1400 unread messages, is there anyway of making it so it only downloads the most recent 200 messages?

I know it would be simpler to just mark them all as read but the user doesn't want to do this. Basically they want it back the way it was.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I found a forum on Apple which states that in iOS7 the functionality to limit the number of emails delivered has been removed.

I can corroborate that on my phone that option is also now gone.  I'll see if I can find more formal documentation.
